Winter Elopement Chicago : Jess and Drew

During winter months we host elopement ceremonies indoors primarily at our venue Creativo Loft. However, on days that are mild enough, some couples choose to add time to go outside for portraits afterwards. This is a flexible option that we are happy to accommodate, especially in the winter time. If couples have their heart set on getting some outside portraits during winter, we are fine with them waiting until the wedding day to make a decision to add on extra time or not. If they do, the upgrade fee is simply added to the wedding day balance.

Jess and Drew took advantage of this option for their winter wedding elopement. There was snow, and it was cold, but these troopers were committed to getting some amazing winter portraits out at the lake. We typically don’t recommend facing the elements out by the lake in winter due to high winds … think runny noses, watery eyes, and wind-reddened faces. But every now and then, lucky couple like can catch a mild and sunny winter day in Chicago, and get the best of both worlds with a cozy indoor ceremony, and stunning outside portraits.
